Game One: Mont Alto 11, Fayette 3

Penn State Mont Alto softball traveled to Penn State Fayette for a double header Tuesday. A strong offensive performance from Mont Alto let them get the 11-3 win over Fayette.

In the top of the first, a double from Rachel Alleman would get the scoring started as two runs would come across. Then a walk would allow another run to score. A bases clearing double from Abigail Cunningham would allow three runs to score.

In the top of the fifth, a sacrifice fly from Lauren Allison would allow one run to come across.

In the bottom of the fifth, a triple from Murphy would allow one run to score. Then a double from Cooper would let another run score. Then a single from Stewart would allow one more run to score for Fayette.

In the top of the sixth, a single from Aiyana Young would allow two runs to score. A single from Cammble Sterner would let two more runs score as Mont Alto wins 11-3 over Fayette.

Penn State Mont Alto Softball Traveled Penn State Fayette for a double header Tuesday. An offensive explosion from Mont Alto allowed them to win 16-0 over Fayette.    

In the top of the first, a double from Paige Loudenslager would allow one run to score on the play. Then in the top of the second, a ground ball to the pitcher would allow one run to come across.

A homerun in the top of the third from Rachel Alleman would allow two runs to score. Then a single from Cammble Sterner would allow two more runs to score. A single from Lauren Allison would then let one run score. Then a single from Paige Loudenslager lets one more run come across in the third.

In the top of the fourth inning, a double from Cammble Sterner lets one run come across. Then a triple from Alyssa Wiles would let two more runs come across. 

In the top of the fifth inning, Rachel Alleman would hit another two-run homerun. Then a single from Cammble Sterner would let one run score. Then a single from Trysta Bricker would let one run score. Then a walk would allow one more run to score as Mont Alto wins 16-0 over Fayette.
