Carey led the Lions to their most successful season in recent memory qualifying for PSUAC Tournament as the No. 6 seed in 2016. Mont Alto fell in the quarterfinals, but Carey once again coached a trio of players to All-PSUAC recognition. Alex Gallaher, Skyler Miller and Jared Adam were named to the PSUAC Second Team.

In the 2015 season, Carey led the Lions to a 4-9 overall record where they just missed out on a PSUAC Tournament berth. Carey coached Corey Meyers, Eric Montalva and Daulton Hershey to All-PSUAC honors.

As a player, Tim Carey attended Cumberland Valley Christian School where during his senior year he helped his team to a 2nd place finish in a National Tournament and was also named to the National All-Star team. Carey was the first player in school history to earn a soccer scholarship, which came from Liberty University. However, he decided to turn down the scholarship and instead served his country joining the United States Army.

Carey resides in Marion, Pa. with his wife Ana. They have four children and 10 grandchildren.
